I’m also working on an applique wall hanging for above the bed. That, however, won’t be finished for a long time. Then came the window treatment. Our bedroom doesn’t have much light, so this is the best I could get for a pic.
This bedroom makeover is quite a change for me, and I’m glad to say I like it. It was a project that seemed to take me forever – and it’s done! A nice way to start off the New Year.

Everything looks terrific, and yes, what a lovely way to start the new year. The applique is quite lovely. I can sympathize with the light problem….when we have it in our cottage it is great, but a dull day is very dull.
Thank you. I’m so glad it’s done and now I can enjoy it every day.
Very pretty, Joyce. So fresh and pretty!

Thank you. It was long overdue!
Joyce it’s beautiful! I love that sweet pillow and quilt and those window treatments are perfect. 😁 Carol
Thank you Carol! These kind words are especially appreciated after so much effort!
I can imagine the work that went into it all. But well done and now you have a beautiful, calming sanctuary!
What a wonderful way to start the new year, with a bedroom makeover! Lovely 🙂
That is a great way to start the new year. I know it isn’t logical, but I think you sleep better in a room that is pretty and coordinated.
It’s true for me – when you like your surroundings, it’s restful. Better yet- it’s a big project finished!
Beautiful leaves on that pillow. Makes a nice accent for your bed quilt
Thank you! I do like the pillow!
