There’s not much snow here in the Piedmont of North Carolina, so how fun it is to have this cute little guy as my new studio mascot?! One faithful retreater, Beverly, made this for me. She also made a jingle bell ornament for all the retreaters – how nice! When I brought him home from retreat, I appreciated what a happy little fellow he was and decided I could enjoy him in my studio. He needs a name – help!
This cute little pumpkin pin cushion was gifted to all at the retreat by Judy. And yes, I already have it filled with pins – I love pin cushions! There were 30 attending retreat, so how appreciative I am of all the effort these gals put forth!
A few pics were missing from my last post and I hated not to share, as this is a very talented and prolific group. Dolores’ nine patch is truly amazing – all those colorful pieces!
This was paper pieced by Laurie – the whole thing at retreat! The background fabric doesn’t show up here, but it is a fun confetti design.
Here we have a new quilter. Stephanie was a pure joy and lucky girl, her aunt, a seasoned and excellent quilter, is her quilt teacher.
Susan made this at the Spring retreat. Mirror Mirror is my pattern and I love her choice of colors! Even better, she donated this quilt to the 2019 Ovarian Cancer Quilt Auction, “Side by Side.”
