This quilt has been in progress for quite some time as I blogged about here. I am so glad to say that it is quilted and bound! All the cutting and sewing on this quilt was definitely worth the effort.
The backing is made up of the leftover fabrics. I love when I can do this and not try to figure out how/where to store the remains.
The smaller bits I cut into the scrap sizes I have been saving and they are tucked away in their proper bins. I am trying so very hard to keep up with this and not end up with the daunting task I had before I began this system.
This finish has me doing my Happy Dance!

It is gorgeous and deserves a happy dance! Congratulations.🍾🎊
Beautiful!
This quilt is so beautiful! And I absolutely love a pieced backing and using the coordinating fabrics from the front too! I have a huge bin stuffed full of fabrics I’ve been meaning to cut into scraps. I totally understand not wanting to get back to that place! I just look at the box and think, “First thing you need to do when you have extra time.” Which means probably sometime in the next 5 years…LOL! Thank you so much for linking up with To-Do Tuesday!
What an awesome quilt! I can see why you are doing the ‘happy dance’.
Oh, what a wonderful quil!!
This is so beautiful! Love all the great fabrics and great design. I am dancing right there with you!
Your quilt is just stunning. I love the rows of different piecing and the fabric is lovely. It’s a bonus when you can use up all those extras for the backing, too! Thanks for linking up to the UFO & WIP Challenge.
I would do a happy dance with this finish, also! Beautiful!
