Some time ago Pineapple Fabrics donated pretty gold, orange and black print strips for Hospice quilts. I decided to sew strips together then slice through, turning the cut strip. I really like the look. Quilting will, of course, bring much more character to these quilts. I even have the backings cut and the bindings prepped. Yeah Me!!
I plan to devote a couple of weeks in June to machine quilting charity quilts. By then I should have a few more tops complete and will concentrate on finishing. How wonderful it will be to have so many more done half way through the year.
LOVE how these turned out. You made pretty fabrics even more pretty with the layouts. ~smile~ Roseanne
Love them! Bob and I drove up to Batiks Etc. Today and has lunch at The Log House. It was a fun day and I found what I need to finish Bria’s big girl quilt.
Have a great day!
