My goal for June was to quilt and finish as many Hospice quilts as possible. I have been working on it for the last few days, but because so much of my time went into finishing my new sewing table, I could not begin earlier.
I pulled out all the quilt tops and if I had not already had a backing stored with them, I chose one. I also prepped the binding for each. Oh my – look at all those bindings!
I prepped the batting for two of the quilts and sandwiched them. Now it was time to quilt!
I especially like this one because it is well suited for a male. See the lion peeking out?
This paintbrush quilt is so bright and cheerful and is sure to bring a smile to someone in Hospice care.
The blocks for both of these quilts were pieced by those attending the Quilt & Sew-In retreats. I then put the blocks together and finish the quilt. It is a great way to get more charity quilts done and is fun for all!
Comments: It is always so much fun to read your comments. The encouragement is just priceless!

What precious and beautiful quilts!
