An Island Batik Adventure
My second year as an Island Batik Ambassador has begun! Each month the ambassadors make a project using these beautiful Island Batik fabrics and share on social media. I loved doing this last year and am really excited about this year’s opportunity. On Friday this huge box was delivered. Wow – it was packed full! (The products featured in this post were given to me by Island Batik)
This surprise package is packed with fabric not yet released – take my word for it – it’s gorgeous and you’re going to want some when it’s released!
What a bonus – Aurifil threads (a cone and six spools!) and Hobbs batting – a cotton batting and a Thermore (a lightweight batting that is a dream to work with.)
There’s a fat quarter pack of fabrics for Valentine projects and a beautiful rayon perfect for making a garment. I haven’t done that in a while – this fabric certainly inspires me! And a personal bonus – a beautiful rayon scarf!
Blue Moon is a fabulous collection and designing with this strip pack and light and dark yardage will be such a treat.
Foundation fabrics – yikes – what a great selection to choose from to build a design. Stash builders – my fave go to for that one fabric I need to complete a design.
Last, and very amazing, is this collection of Plum Delicious – a fat eight collection and yardage. I have all sorts of visions popping in my head for this pile of wonderful!
